In an interview yesterday on XM’s “Ron and Fez” radio show, Jeffrey Tambor said an Arrested Development movie is in the works.
Tambor played George Bluth Sr. on the cult favorite TV show that was unfortunately canceled after only three seasons.
Tambor said he was contacted recently by Ron Howard about possibly being a part of a movie, and he quickly told him, “I’m in.” Howard was the executive producer and narrator of the show. He also confirmed that the star of the show, Jason Bateman, was on board too.
I’m very happy about this news. “Arrested Development” is easily one of the funniest TV shows ever and it will be great to see the Bluth’s back together. I’m also honored to share the same first name as Mr. Tambor.
Michael: I really think the reason you and I always fight is that, since we were little, Dad’s always played us off each other.
Gob: Dad always said that was your fault.
