This year we knew which spots would be featured ahead of time, teased by 10-second previews days before. Battleship continues to resemble Transformers, which is fine for fans and disappointing for anyone who was kidding themselves. The Avengers looks like a Marvel comic book exploded starring a snarky Robert Downey Jr. John Carter is still an underdog this summer, with an impossible budget to recoup and little support thus far. G.I. Joe 2 combines The Rock and Bruce Willis, what’s not to like? The Lorax looks fun. The Dictator does not.
