Trailer for Neil Marshall’s ‘Centurion’

An international trailer for Centurion, written and directed by Neil Marshall, has appeared online.  Starring Michael Fassbender, “The Wire” actor Dominic West, and Olga Kurylenko, the bloody “Roman chase film” tells the story of the Ninth Legion and their mysterious disappearance.  Unfortunately this is the only action-packed footage thus far because the film doesn’t have a U.S. release date yet.

The Ninth Legion was almost entirely wiped out during a Pict revolt against Roman oppression circa 117 A.D., according to myth.  Marshall’s film tells the story of the ambush and the survivors who must escape from behind enemy lines.  Another movie, The Eagle of the Ninth with Channing Tatum, takes place after their disappearance.
