Nine New Images from ‘Percy Jackson’

20th Century Fox released nine new promotional images for next weekend’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.  Based on the book series by Rick Riordan, the film stars Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Uma Thurman, Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Steve Coogan, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Keener, Kevin McKidd, Melina Kanakaredes, Joe Pantoliano.

I did a little research — Wikipedia, don’t get excited — and Poseidon was thought to have fathered at least 55 different children with 18 separate women.  The god of the sea really gets around.  No mention of a Percy Jackson though.

Lerman was recently linked to the new Spider-Man reboot, but quickly backpedaled when his own management and Sony reps denied discussions about him playing Peter Parker.  His stance is now: “I’m just a really big fan.”  Depending on the success of this movie, there are four more stories for him to star in if the Percy Jackson franchise takes off.
