‘Last Airbender’ Posters and Trailer Details

I’m skeptical of M. Night Shyamalan’s new film The Last Airbender only because I was far from impressed with his last few movies, but so far I’m enjoying what we’ve seen from the summer tentpole so far.  Paramount Pictures has released these two new banner posters featuring Zuko (Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel) and Aang (12-year-old newcomer Noah Ringer).

Fans of the cartoon series have been eagerly awaiting more footage since the teaser trailer, and it’s coming soon.  Frank Marshall, a producer on the film, confirmed on Twitter the full-length theatrical trailer will be attached to Fox’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief on February 12.  It was originally delayed due to unfinished effects shots from Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).  Marshall also said the trailer is roughly 2 minutes and it will feature all the main characters.  Airbender is also getting a Super Bowl XLIV spot on February 7, so watch for that.
