A second teaser poster for Christopher Nolan’s Inception has surfaced online as reports of a second teaser trailer have leaked from early screenings of Sherlock Holmes. Thus far Warner Bros has been pretty pro at keeping this under wraps. Despite a high-profile cast and a director coming off a monster hit there’s been little information available on where this mind-bending film is headed.
Update: Here’s a leaked French version of the trailer from MakingOf. There’s no way this will last, so watch it before it disappears. Can anyone translate?
Collider and Slashfilm both struggled to describe the new trailer (you can find the first here), but were only able to piece together bits of images and words flashing on the screen. Leonardo DiCaprio provides voice over that says, “An idea has the power to build a city… to change the world, and re-write all the rules… and that’s why I need to steal it.” They also suggest Matrix style mid-air fight scenes and a glimpse of Ellen Page. Check them out for more on the trailer (may contain minor spoilers).
Meanwhile, NolanFans.com discovered an Easter egg in the viral marketing game used last week to unveil the first poster. At the completion of your own maze, there’s an option to publish a link to it for others to attempt. By clicking someone else’s maze and navigating to the end, the viral game presents a new teaser poster (seen below). Here’s a fun maze someone created the looks like the Batman logo, in case you want to discover the image for yourself.
Take a look at the second teaser poster below:

Inception is out in IMAX and traditional theaters on July 16, 2010.
