Trailer and Pictures from Sorceror’s Apprentice

Disney has released a trio of pictures and an epic trailer for The Sorceror’s Apprentice.  Nicolas Cage stars with his craziest hairdo yet along with Apatow protege Jay Baruchel and the great Alfred Molina.  The film is loosely based on the scene from Fantasia, but judging from the theatrical trailer there’s a lot more going on than just brooms run amuck.

A few questions I have after watching the trailer. First, what is going on at the Chrysler building? Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief is taking trips to the top and visiting Mount Olympus and now giant gargoyles are swooping down from it? Plus where’s the shot of the beautiful Monica Bellucci? Finally, is Cage a Street Fghter character (see first picture below)?
