IAmRogue.com managed to snap loads of photos from the set of The Fighter, a boxing drama starring Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams. After a cast shuffle and several delays, the movie is finally happening and just wrapped filming in Massachusetts.
Wahlberg plays Micky Ward, a junior welterweight who became famous over three bouts with Arturo “Thunder” Gatti. I’m surprised we didn’t hear news of David O. Russell punching someone himself after his record of set explosions. Take a look at Bale though. This acting thing has to be hazardous to his health. He dropped a ton of weight again for the role of Dickie Eklund, Ward’s half-brother.
Here are four pictures (via Collider), but check out the rest at IAmRogue plus a behind-the-scenes video.
