The trailer for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is online. Like the original Troy Duffy wrote and directed for stars Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, and Billy Connelly. Joining the cast are Julie Benz, Judd Nelson (where’s he been?), and Clifton Collins Jr. Apparition just picked it up for distribution stateside.
I’m a fan of the first, but I don’t know how many times I’ve heard someone use it for movie credibility. Let me explain. As a film critic/journalist, I get myself into conversations about film (mostly because I’m a loser/geek) with strangers. It’s an easy, relatable topic when you’re awkwardly standing next to each other at a “get together.” Try it sometime. That advice is free, my friend.
Random Party Guy always says, “What about this? Have you seen The Boondock Saints?” It takes every ounce of restraint not to say, “No, but have you seen Napoleon Dynamite?” It’s a minor pet peeve on par with starting a sentence with, “Did you ever see that Seinfeld episode where…” Of course I did.
Enough rambling, here’s the trailer for the sequel:
Tell me what you think below. Too much slow motion? More of the same? Looks awesome?
