Official Volturi Pics from ‘Twilight: New Moon’

Summit Entertainment has released five official images of the Volturi, the powerful vampire coven in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.  It’s simply each cast member standing in front of the same background in full costume and striking a pose.  They’re slightly different than the Volturi pictures leaked online last month, if only because we can see their all-black wardrobes now.  Finally we get to see more vampire torsos.

Left: Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, a vampire capable of seeing the relationships between people.  If he were a Planeteer he’d have the heart ring on.  Image courtesy of Twilight Lexicon.

Right: Dakota Fanning as Jane, a pint-sized bloodsucker with the ability to inflict debilitating pain through thoughts.  She’s a lot like Darth Vader if he was a 15-year-old girl.  Image courtesy of MySpace, which is apparently still around.

Left: Michael Sheen as Aro, the overall leader of the Volturi who can determine the thoughts of someone simply by touching them.  This makes it easy to pick up women at parties.  Image from Yahoo!

Right: Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, who doesn’t have any special abilities other than the usual vampire strength.  He does, however, hate to be called Goldilocks.  Picture from MovieFone.

Cameron Bright as Alec, the twin of Jane with the ability to hinder the senses for a group of people.  His gift makes everything hazy, much like the effect of alcohol.  Not surprisingly from MTV, the unofficial sponsor of Twilight.

Demetri, Felix and Heidi are also expected to appear online soon, if they haven’t already.
