Excellent review. You almost changed my mind. I'm still however on the other side . I won't go as far as to say that the movie sucked, I just thought it was boring. I never read the books but the previous installments were exciting and fun. This last movie felt more like an episode of Teen Melrose Place. Two thumbs down

Alan Rickman and Jim Broadbent were great, and Draco's struggles with his dark assignment were brilliantly portrayed by his facial expressions. And God Bless Maggie Smith. Man she looks old.
I was a little disappointed with Fenrir Greyback because he didn’t resemble the cartoonish Lupin werewolf from the 3rd flick. I also thought it was strange that they never said Tonk’s name. I’m sure a lot of people had no idea who she was. They also never referred to Lavender by name. The movie also quickly glossed over the Half Blood prince plot. How could they leave that part out?!? The biggest upset of the movie: the fake Potter-on-Weasley kiss!
Despite it’s inconsistencies with the book, I loved this film.
