When Megan Fox made the rounds to promote Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live (video here) to discuss how she developed a working relationship with director Michael Bay. The two had already exchanged a few choice words in public statements during the press tour for the “event” movie, so this continues their rocky relationship. On the late night talk show, Fox alludes to Bay being “infamous for being a tyrant on set” before telling a story about how she met the man.
She was brought in as an extra on Bad Boys II when she was 15-years-old. Here’s how she tells the story: “We were shooting this club scene, and they brought me in, and I was wearing a stars and stripes bikini and a red cowboy hat, and six-inch heels. And they took me to Mike and he approved it. And they said, ‘You know, Michael, she’s 15, so you can’t sit her at the bar and she can’t have a drink in her hand.’ So his solution to that problem was to then have me dancing underneath a waterfall getting soaking wet. And that’s… At 15 and I was in tenth grade. So that’s sort of a microcosm of how Bay’s mind works.”
Fox also said Bay holds the world record for the largest explosion ever in a film and the largest explosion with the actors present. That sounds about right.

For her screen test to get the part in the original Transformers, Fox was asked by Bay to wash his Ferrari while he filmed her. Wow.
