The first thing that struck me as unique in this film was the POV filming, where the camera is moving with the actors. This almost seems like a prequel to "American Gangster". The action is good, but the story dragged out too long, and is centered around only John Dillenger, with some focus on Baby-Face Nelson. What about Al Capone!? They should have worked him into the script, and shortened the time to 2 hours to speed up the movie.

I feel like this was a "good" movie, yet it just didn't pop the way I expected it to. It's worth seeing 'big' for the artistry, but maybe just a rental for the layer-less story. See my review at GAB AND DAD.
