Two More ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Concept Art Pictures

Earlier today we got our first look at Tim Burton’s offbeat adaptation of Alice in Wonderland for Disney.  There were concept art and character photos of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.  Two more pictures have emerged since then.  One is of Alice (Mia Wasikowska) standing near the famous teacup and a better look at Tweedledee and Tweedledum (both played by Matt Lucas).  Here they are, click to enlarge either photo to full size.

I can’t wait to see an image of the new, animated Cheshire Cat, voiced by Stephen Fry.  The concept art displayed at ShoWest was described as a gray and blue cat with a mischievous grin reminiscent of the Joker.  Hopefully we’ll get a glimpse of him and the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) very soon.  Alice in Wonderland is in theaters March 5, 2010.
