First Look: Josh Brolin as ‘Jonah Hex’

A paparazzo managed to get a few spy spots of Josh Brolin on the set of the DC Comics adaptation Jonah Hex.

They simply show the title character walking around in full Confederate army garb and the facial scars that set him apart.  I actually expected Brolin to be even more scary looking, but maybe that will be fixed in post-production.  He looks pretty cool though.

Also in the movie are Megan Fox (who we’ve already seen going full corset on set) and John Malkovich (as the villain Quentin Turnbull).  Production is currently underway (I believe in Louisiana) and is being directed by Jimmy Hayward.  It opens in theaters August 6, 2010.
