Shooting on The Twilight Saga: New Moon hasn’t even completed yet, but Summit Entertainment has already released a teaser poster for the movie. The second installment in the hit vampire series is out November 20, 2009.
The studio opted not to go with airbrushed floating heads this time, but instead full-body shots of three airbrushed main characters standing in a smokey forest. An improvement? You be the judge.
The main draw, Robert Pattinson (Edward), is featured right up front despite a much smaller role in the novel. Summit has promised a more prominent part for the teen heartthrob considering the hordes of adoring fans and how much they’re reportedly paying him. Next in line is Taylor Lautner (Jacob), the young actor who was almost replaced for this movie until he added roughly 25 pounds of muscle to play a werewolf. Finally, there’s Kristen Stewart (Bella), who is caught somewhere in between the two relationships. If Twilight was a fantasy twist on Romeo and Juliet, then New Moon is the story of Romeo, Juliet, and the boy who comes between them, Ned.
