‘Public Enemies’ Trailer

Universal Pictures has really been ramping up the hype for Public Enemies, the 1930s crime drama from director Michael Mann.  When the poster premiered yesterday, I talked about how awesome the cast was.  I’ll reiterate quickly.  Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard, Billy Crudup, Giovanni Ribisi, and more.  You have to be excited about at least one of those people.

But now that I’ve seen the trailer, this movie looks awesome.  Maybe after The Untouchables and Road to Perdition I’m a sucker for old school gangsters and Tommy gun shoot-outs, but this looks like a good time at the movies.  A perfect summer flick mixed in with all the nerdy stuff like Wolverine, Transformers, and Star Trek.  (Not that there’s anything wrong with that…)
