New Title and New Moon Logo

Published by Jeff Leins on: February 20th, 2009

MTV has premiered the brand new title and logo for the Twilight sequel, based on the novel New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. The movie will officially be called The Twilight Saga: New Moon just to casually remind their rabid fans which franchise they’re waiting impatiently for, as if they’d forgotten. They also stuck with the same lowercase lettering and fanged font from the original logo before changing the Twilight blue to New Moon orange.

The movie starts shooting next month, so it may be until early summer before we hear anything or see a real teaser poster. I suppose it’s too much to ask for something other than the floating heads of the sequel’s stars (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner).

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is scheduled for November 20, 2009.
