Bale Flips Out On Set and a New T-600 Image

Published by Jeff Leins on February 3, 2009

Christian Bale flipped out on the set of Terminator Salvation last week while filming in New Mexico.  The actor started shouting at the director of photography, Shane Hurlbut, because the DP was walking around during a scene Bale was shooting with his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.

Listen to the audio right here (warning, does contain profanity):

A spokesman from the studio has already confirmed its authenticity before adding, “He regrets that he lost his temper.”  Bale was arrested in July 2008 for allegedly assaulting his mother.  The charges were later dropped.

Bale is a very good actor, but his weakness seems to be his temper.  In my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with that (having a temper).  Unfortunately when you’re famous audio will end up on the Internet or videos of drunken mistakes will pop up on YouTube.  That’s just the nature of being a celebrity.  In the end, this isn’t going to affect the movie so it really doesn’t matter.  I can’t believe I posted it.  But more importantly, I can’t believe you listened to it.

Meanwhile, Wired has an interview with director McG, who says the ending will stick with you and make you think.  Hmmm, a thinking man’s killer robot movie?  Awesome.

Also, GamePro Magazine has a new picture of the T-600 model from Terminator Salvation and three new concept art pieces have emerged online.  Check out the sweet pictures below:
