‘Star Trek’ Super Bowl Commercial

Paramount has already released the Super Bowl commercial for Star Trek, directed by J.J. Abrams (producer of “Lost,” Cloverfield and director of Mission: Impossible III).  Unfortunately, no one knows any details about the actual story just yet.  Surprise surprise coming from Abrams, right?

We do know it’s a prequel though, so it will tell the origins of Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Scotty (Simon Pegg), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Sulu (John Cho), McCoy (Karl Urban), Chekov (Anton Yelchin), and Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood).  They will battle the evil forces of Nero, played by Eric Bana.
