First Poster for ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’

20th Century Fox has released the first poster, a teaser image, for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, due out May 1, 2009.  The studio has decided not to debut any footage for the movie (or any of its slate) during the Superbowl.  If you missed the trailer, check it out here.

Paramount Pictures has already released its 30-second Super Bowl spot for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra.  Check out the high-definition trailer at ComingSoon.net.
Stephen Sommers (The Mummy, Van Helsing) directed the movie starring Dennis Quaid (General Hawk), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Cobra Commander), Channing Tatum (Duke), Sienna Miller (Baronness), and Marlon Wayans (Ripcord).

‘Kung Fu Panda’ Clobbers ‘Wall-E’ at Annie Awards

Kung Fu Panda shut out its competition in every major feature film category at the 36th annual Annie Awards celebrating 2008’s best animated movies.  The DreamWorks Animation pic bested critic favorite Wall-E and other nominee Bolt for “Best Feature.”

Columbia Pictures is searching for writers to pen a Ghost Rider sequel with Nicolas Cage attached to return, according to Bloody-Disgusting.
