Teaser Trailer for Roland Emmerich’s 2012

A teaser trailer for Roland Emmerich’s 2012 has just washed online. Emmerich has plenty of experience with end of the world movies like Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Day After Tomorrow, so this one isn’t much of a stretch.

This apocalyptic movie stars John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Oliver Platt, and Woody Harrelson. Oh, and then there’s Thandie Newton, who I didn’t really feel belonged with the other, much more talented list of people.

Here’s the trailer, or you can check out the high definition version at Moviefone. Not much to get excited about though. Just some bad CGI and lame title cards.

The movie called 2012 comes out on July 10th of… 2009?
