Seth Rogen Makes a Cancer Comedy

Seth Rogen will produce and play a supporting role in I’m With Cancer based on the autobiographical story of Will Reiser.

Reiser’s story talks about his struggle with learning he had cancer at age 25 and how he used humor to get through it.  No word on who will play the lead role yet.

Rogen will produce along with his writing partner Evan Goldberg and Mandate Pictures, who put out 2007’s hit comedy Juno.  The studio is fast-tracking the production in hopes to find a director within the month.

There might be some quick outrage for linking cancer with comedy, but I fully support this movie.  As some of you may know, I had cancer myself and I believe it was the main reason I have a strong sense of humor today.  Plus, like a horse with a bum leg, they just put me out to stud now, which is great.
