Actor Paul Newman has died at the age of 83.
Newman passed away Friday at his farmhouse in Westport, Connecticut after a battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, five children, and two grandchildren.
Nominated for Academy Awards ten times, Paul Newman won Oscars for “Best Actor” in The Color of Money, an honorary award, and a humanitarian award.
The legendary actor appeared in approximately 50 films, including Cool Hand Luke, The Sting, The Hudsucker Proxy, Slap Shot, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and one of my personal favorites, Road to Perdition. He most recently lent his voice to the Pixar-animated movie Cars.
