‘Death Race’ Adds More Junk On Cars

A new picture from Empire Magazine shows a few of the cars barreling down the road in the Death Race remake. Directing is Paul W.S. Anderson, also known as “Not the Good Anderson” because people get the names confused with Paul THOMAS Anderson, the filmmaker who brought us There Will Be Blood.

Paul W.S. Anderson is the brilliant mind behind the first Alien vs. Predator and that classic Mortal Kombat movie.

Starring in the movie are Jason Statham (he really knows how to pick ‘em), Tyrese Gibson and Joan Allen.

Below is a still frame from the movie featuring cars with a lot of junk attached. As if the fancy fins and ground effects on the Fast and the Furious cars wasn’t enough, now race cars need to have spring-loaded lifts (I’m looking at you Speed Racer) or in this case, flamethrowers and pooper scoopers. You’re going to want that scooper though if you see this movie, trust me.
