Hey dude, don`t be ashamed of reading the book, if you like it, you like it, seriously, i`ve read the books and I like them, doesnt make a guy gay or whatever, I just like the books you know? you should listen to what these girls are saying I mean i`ll be honest I thought my guy mates were gonna laugh at me but they didnt but I was still worried haha kinda sad really but yeah they`re good books and anyone can read them, guys,girls anyone.

I’ll admit watching my wife read Twilight and become so obesive about it that she quickly bought the other three and read them in 2 weeks I was reluctant to read the books. I eventually broke down a week before the movie came out and started reading it. My wife wanted me to have a better understanding before we saw teh movie. So I picked Twilight up on a Sunday Night and the next thing I knew I finished Breaking Dawn on Friday afternoon, just in time for the movie… I’m not afraid to say that I read them and actually enjoyed it. Stephanie does know how to paint a good picture with words.

I don’t think that guys realize reading the book is a good way to acquire advice on how to make a girl fall madly in love with you, lol.

A year ago when I was handed the book, I was reluctant as well. I’m not as much into the whole… geh… lovey dovey vampire scene. oui. But I loved it. Mostly because the storytelling is so compelling. It was so easy to just READ it.

And now I fight with teenagers on message boards about the psychological damage obsessing about the book (the nature of relationships within and attachments to fictional characters in general among other things) can create. Go figure.
