First Look: Josh Brolin as George W. Bush

Update: Lionsgate has picked up the movie and plans to release it on October 17, 2008.

Entertainment Weekly has the first pictures of Josh Brolin done up as President George W. Bush for Oliver Stone’s W. Pictured beside him on the cover is Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush.

I think he looks great. He doesn’t look exactly like Bush does now, but he’s supposed to be playing him years ago. I honestly wouldn’t have recognized him unless I knew that was Josh Brolin. Great job. I’m looking forward to this.

Meanwhile, his father, James Brolin, replaced James Caan in Nailed after the whole cookie choking fiasco.
