‘Footloose’ Remake

When I woke up this morning I thought to myself, “You know what we need? You know what America needs? A Footloose remake. Not a sequel or a prequel. But just a full on remake. Really just blow it out. Go musical and everything.”

Well, my very heterosexual and masculine dream has come true.

Paramount is developing a musical redo of Footloose, starring some fruit named Zac Efron and some random director/choreographer named Kenny Ortega.

So there will once again be a movie based on a guy dancing away his hatred for the Baptists.

I wonder what Isaiah Washington from Grey’s Anatomy has to say about this?
